Sea Flares
In this painting, the streaks of star rain swirl through the layers as if exceeding the spatial boundaries, amounting to the fluid interconnection between past, present and future. Looking at the artwork from a distance, the painting is a portrait of the sea's surface with ripples spreading like flares. It is an invitation for viewers to take a closer look at the details of the brushstrokes and the colors which portray the magnificence of the sea caves along the coast. The layered colors also draw the viewers' attention to the faults and fractures – the beauty of the weakness. The viewpoint is not fixed. In another world, senses blend, purely reverie of shapes and colors.
